1、隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化和國(guó)際貿(mào)易和的迅猛發(fā)展,國(guó)家間的經(jīng)貿(mào)往來(lái)日益頻繁。而在產(chǎn)品的銷(xiāo)售中,產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)不僅能給消費(fèi)者提供詳細(xì)的產(chǎn)品信息,而且會(huì)直接影響消費(fèi)者的購(gòu)買(mǎi)心理。為了搶占市場(chǎng)先機(jī),公司對(duì)產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)翻譯的需求也日益增長(zhǎng)。然而,目前市場(chǎng)上的產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)的翻譯因缺乏較為系統(tǒng)的理論指導(dǎo)而質(zhì)量參差不齊,差強(qiáng)人意。
作為實(shí)用文體的一種,電子產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)翻譯存在規(guī)律性。一方面,產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)有自己的格式和特點(diǎn)。其主要包括:產(chǎn)品介紹、部件、基本功能、使用
2、指南、產(chǎn)品安裝與設(shè)置等方面的內(nèi)容;其特點(diǎn)主要包括:普遍使用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),廣泛使用祈使句和被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。另一方面,產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)是一種典型的目的性文本,它的目的很鮮明,即:產(chǎn)品介紹和產(chǎn)品宣傳。功能派翻譯理論的核心理論:目的論對(duì)產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)的翻譯有重大指導(dǎo)作用。它有助于譯者更好地把握說(shuō)明書(shū)翻譯的規(guī)律性,增加說(shuō)明書(shū)翻譯的靈活性,最后譯出讀者和商家都滿意的說(shuō)明書(shū)。因此,本文以產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)為研究對(duì)象,結(jié)合產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明書(shū)的自身特點(diǎn),從目的論的角度出發(fā),將目的論運(yùn)用到
