5、ptamehumanisticattitudetolife.AtthesametimepaintersreturnedtoclassicalRomanGreekideasaboutart.Theytriedtopaintpeoplenatureastheyreallywere.Richpeoplewantedtopossesstheirownpaintingssotheycouledecatetheirsuperbpalacesgrea

6、thouses.Theypaidfamousartiststopaintpicturesofthemselvestheirhousespossessionsaswellastheiractivitiesachievements.Oneofthemostimptantdiscoveriesduringthisperiodwashowtodrawthingsinperspective.ThistechniquewasfirstusedbyM

9、thcentury)Inthelate19thcenturyEuropechangedagreatdealfromamostlyagriculturalsocietytoamostlyindustrialone.Manypeoplemovedfromthecountrysidetothenewcities.Thereweremanynewinventionssocialchangesalsoledtonewpaintingstyles.

10、AmongthepainterswhobrokeawayfromthetraditionalstyleofpaintingweretheImpressionistswholivedwkeinParis.TheImpressionistswerethefirstpainterstowkoutdos.Theywereeagertoshowhowlightshadowfellonobjectsatdifferenttimesofday.How
