2、he rapid development of real estate and decoration industry, indoor design and decoration has become a new and hot industry. The high growth of the new industry results in the increasing demand to indoor designer. Peop
3、le who can design, manage and have a good command of workmanship are very popular among the industry. Under the circumstances, many high vocational colleges and universities adjust their major structure and set up ind
4、oor design major. Higher vocational education is a new type of higher education as a result of the development of economy and technology. Its goal is to cultivate high quality and skilled talents, who can work in the
5、 first line of management, production, construction and service. However, because the development of vocational education started late, it also determines art design major including indoor design in high vocational col
6、lege to start late. There are also some problems in talent training, such as professional teaching model imitating academic-type art colleges. This can’t reflect the difference in aspects of talent-training goal and t
7、eaching model between common higher education and high vocational education, which results in the disjointing of talent training and enterprise’s demand. So how to adapt to the development of indoor design industry and
8、 enterprises, reform the current teaching model, cultivate high quality people, which has become the focus. As far as the current indoor design of vocational education is concerned, in accordance with the professiona
9、l growth law of talents, we should strengthen the cooperation between colleges and enterprises and establish different kinds of studios with appropriate professional atmosphere, the integration of teaching and training
10、, professional quality training and technology service. Those are the efficient ways to solve the current problems. In order to illustrate problems completely, this paper aims at studying the teaching model of studio
11、system in high vocational college and explores its some aspects by using literature research, survey research and case studies. Firstly, this paper analyzes the demand to indoor designers and the current situation of
12、 talent cultivation in high vocational colleges. Through the investigation into indoor decoration industry, we can get to know the current developing situation of indoor design industry and its demand to talents and ca
13、n know well the talent training goal, specification of indoor design in high vocational college. Secondly, this paper also explores the necessity of implementing teaching model of studio system in high vocational col
14、lege. It expounds the suggestion and reason and introduces some experiences of some high vocational colleges and their enlightenment. Through these analyses, it can give some guidance to implement this teaching model.
15、 At last, this paper expounds the exploration and practice of implementing the teaching model of studio system of indoor design in high vocational college. On the base of discussing its connotation, function and effec
16、t, the paper points out the constructing element of the teaching model of indoor design studio system. Then it takes Nantong Textile Vocational Technology Colleges as an example to introduce the practical exploration i
