7、chresultsinaverypopowerfactofoperation.Thefegoingdiscussionshowsthattheproliferationofpowerelectronicsystemsloadshasthepotentialfsignificantnegativeimpactontheutilitiesthemselvesaswellasontheircustomers.Oneapproachtomini
8、mizethisimpactistofiltertheharmoniccurrentstheelectromagicinterference(EMI)producedbythepowerelectronicloads.Abetteralternativeinspiteofasmallincreaseintheinitialcostmaybetodesignthepowerelectronicequipmentsuchthatthehar
9、monicconsistoflargeharmonicmagnitudes.TherefefafiniteinternalperphasesourceimpedanceLsthevoltagedisttionatthepointofcommoncouplinginFig.16A1canbesubstantial.ThehighertheinternalsourceinductanceLsthegreaterwouldbethevolta
