3、equal. In the present study, we investigated the influences of cognition processing strategy and whether a hemispheric division of labor was most advantageous to performance when lateralized inputs were placed unequal r

4、esource demands on the left and right cerebral hemispheres. The research included three experiments. Experiment 1 identified that the two-letter did not have cognitive operation of mental rotation in the 45°-45°

5、;rotation conditions. The result proved that the complexity of the three rotating conditions were unequal in the experiment of Weissman et al. Experiment 2 found that the similarity of physical characteristics between th

6、e letters determined the cognitive processing strategies that the two hemispheres would adopt and affected the interaction relationship between the two hemispheres. In Experiment 3, we structured differences between the

7、cognitive load and there were no advantages on performance when lateralized inputs were placed unequal resource demands on the left and right cerebral hemispheres. The whole research did not support that the influence of

8、 cognitive load affected the inter-hemisphere gain effect. Our findings showed that the similarity of physical characteristics decided the cognitive processing strategies and different cognitive processing strategies had
