4、ransformation and sustainable development in China is more urgent.This paper uses China’s 30 provincial panel data in 2002-2012 as samples, the BCC-DEA model is used to measure China’s regional ecological efficiency in 2

5、002-2012, the Malmquist index is used to analyze the dynamic changes of ecological efficiency in China in 2002-2012. By using the Malmquist index decomposition analysis, this paper further analyze the factors that contri

6、bute to the changes. In the end, the Tobit model is used to do an empirical analysis to the influence from international trade and environmental regulation to the ecological efficiency. The main conclusions of this paper

7、 are: the regional ecological efficiency in China is high in the east and low in the west“, besides the regional ecological efficiency is gradually weakening. The Malmquist index decomposition analysis reveals that techn

8、ological advance is the main reason that improves ecological efficiency, but technology efficiency keeps weakening. International trade significantly promote the growth of ecological efficiency, environmental regulation

9、have impact on the ecological efficiency, but not significantly. The impact of foreign trade and environmental regulation for each region is different, the east and the middle of China received a more significant effect
