2、rocess of buckwheat. The quality of screening has impact on grading performance, separating mixture and production consumption. Buckwheat is near mesh particle, so it makes screen blind severely and the grading efficienc
3、y of buckwheat declines. Men always clean the screen by beating or scraping it in the traditional process of buckwheat. Main characteristics: high labor strength, low work efficiency. It also can make the screen buckle a
4、nd damage. At the same time, manual screen cleaning gives rise to a lot of dust and terrible working environment. The impact of bouncing ball screen cleaning on grading performance was studied in this paper. Bouncing bal
5、l itself characteristics and the structure of screen frame were considered to improve the grading efficiency of buckwheat. The vibrating screen surface’s motion laws and buckwheat’s movement orbits on screen surface were
6、 studied, so was the condition of single particle material on screen surface slides and doesn’t jump. The paper studied and analyzed factors that influence the performance of screen cleaning and buckwheat’s grading effic
7、iency. Aiming at bouncing ball itself characteristics, such as material, diameter, number, and the structure of screen frame , such as the length of box,we did the orthogonal test. We also conducted the experiment study
8、of vibrating screen’s working parameters that effect grading efficiency directly. According to experiment of the impact of the number of bouncing ball on grading efficiency, we come to the conclusion: compared with the b
9、oxes without bouncing ball, when five bouncing balls were put in each box, the grading efficiency is increased by 83.4%. So the screen cleaning performance of bouncing ball is dramatic. Adopting the way of bouncing ball
10、screen cleaning, when the length of box is 65mm, silica gel bouncing ball is 30mm in diameter, vibration frequency is 8.22Hz, the number of bouncing ball is 7 in each box and feeding rate is 7.12kg/min, grading efficienc
11、y reaches 98.69%. Changing bouncing ball’s characteristics and the structure of screen frame can improve the screen cleaning performance of bouncing ball and grading state of buckwheat on several levels. It has vast impo
