2、inated from the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) formula Siwutang which is a primary formula for harmonizing nutrient Qi and defensive Qi and nourishing Qi and Blood in TCM, is a new concentrated tablet according to the

3、 requirements of the clinic. In this project, we engage a comprehensive, thorough and systemic research on origin, preparing procedure, quality criteria, stability, main validating experiments of pharmacodynamics and saf

4、ety value of Siwu Tablet in order to establish the quality criteria and preparing procedure with standardization and supply the exemplification of the development and the research of traditional prescription of TCM. On

5、the basis of the function and treatment as well as the characters of the component of the herbs, the optimum extract conditions about water- extract is selected by using orthogonal design which use quite a few assessing

6、norms to evaluate them comprehensively. Meanwhile,the extract of volatile oil and the combination of β-cyclodextin with it have been completed. After the separation and the purification of the extraction,the dry and shap

7、ing proccess have been studied. Determine the content of paeoniflorin in Siwu Tablet by RP-HPLC. Use TLC to identify Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch、 Angelica sinensis、 Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort and Paeonia lactiflora Pal

8、l. Then the preliminary stability was fulfilled. That research indicates that the technique of preparation was reasonable and practical, the standard was controllable and the quality of the sample were steady as well. K
