3、vil war, enhanced the second cooperation between Kuomingtang and Communist Party and constructed the initial national united front of resistance against Japan, thus became the hinge of turning the political situation. Th

4、is paper describes the occurrence and peaceful resolution of Xi’an Incident from the perspective of Third Party with national bourgeois as the principal, explores its role in Xi’an Incident, and in turn analyses the stat

5、us and contribution of national bourgeois in Chinese history of revolutionary united fronts. Based on the guidance of historical materialism of Marxism, this paper explores the enhancing role of the Third Party force i

6、n the occurrence of Xi’an Incident from the following five aspects: consensus preparation, mass people foundation, the idea turning of Zhang Xueliang , the formation of “three in one” political situation in North-west Ch

7、ina and the fuse of Xi’an Incident. The author thinks the Third Party force played a unique and indispensable role in the peaceful resolution of Xi’an Incident. Firstly, the Third Party took the first initiative to propo

8、se the peaceful resolution; secondly the Third Party took measures to check the possible civil war provoked by the Kuomingtang; finally the Third Party enhanced the peaceful resolution. Based on the historical facts, thi

9、s paper draws two conclusions: the role of the Third Party in Xi’an Incident and its peaceful resolution was irreplaceable; the Third Party, as well as a constituent of national united front of resistance against Japan,
