2、ain types of ancient Chinese tourism. Wang Shipeng became the first-degree scholar when he was 46 years old, and then began the 15-year official travel. During his official travel, he went to the ZheMin hills, the Yangtz

3、e River Plains and Three Gorges area, making travel notes for each place, narrating a scene, or a sentiment or an event, describing landscapes and customs everywhere. In the last quarter of his life, he wrote poetry and

4、prose more than 70% of the total, and most of them recorded the land and the people, giving great benefit to the study of landscape scenery, customs and other tourist resources of the early Southern Sung Dynasty. This th

5、esis is divided into three parts. In the first part, the thesis introduced the definition of official travel, and the routes of Wang Shipeng’s official travel, focusing on the description of the routes of Wang Shipeng’s

6、official travel. In accordance with the amount of poetry creation and travel radius of the ages, the thesis divided Wang Shipeng's official travel of his whole life into three different phases; and combined with hist

7、orical data, the thesis also scaled the official travel maps, showing the routes and locations directly. In the second part, the thesis discussed the various scenery details of the Southern Sung Dynasty during Wang Shipe

8、ng’s official travel, such as the ecological environment, historical sites, the comparison of customs and so on. And this part is the emphasis of the thesis; it describes the scenery of Wang Shipeng’s official travel in

9、detail, including the rocky gap, lake and beach; streams and springs; steep mountainous and cliffs, rocks and valleys; fishing boats and merchants; rural rivers and lakes; ancient trees and flowers; rare birds and animal

10、s; temples and tombs; pavilions and towers; monuments and gardens; streets and squares; museums and shops; parks and crossings; bridges and roads; weddings and funerals; birth; sacrifice; worship; materials and paintings

11、; craft products; tea, wine and fruits; vegetables and meat. The third part fully displayed the historical significance of Wang Shipeng’s official travel, using data charts, in the base of the vertical comparison of the
