3、 revolution, and the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics were created. A revolutionary change in the viewpoint of time and space occurred because of the Theory of Relativity. Einstein pointed out that gravitation

4、was not the same as other kinds of forces, but is only the result of space-time not being smooth, just as he postulated previously that space-time became bended and warped because of the distributing of quality and energ

5、y in the middle of itself. The Theory of Relativity made us change our view of time and space radically: time couldn’t exist independently of the space and must combine with space to form the so-called entity of space-ti

6、me. Relativity ended the idea of absolute time! In this project, I will explain the pre-Einstein view of time and space first, then illustrate Einstein’s view of time and space by discussing the formation of special rela

7、tivity and general relativity. I shall then point out the restrictions in Einstein’s view of time and space, and finally point out its impact on philosophy and society in general. Key words: Einstein’s view of time and s
