2、ralism, and radical doctrine have appeared at the same time nearly. As Main representative in conservatism, the modern new- Confucianists object to both the radical and sticking to the establish
3、ed practice, but take the attitude of “practical innovation“. In this way, they stand fast at the Confucian’ s study in disposition justice at narrowly- defined idea culture i.e. the outlook on
4、 life, study and draw lessons from the modern western democratic system politically, and regard democracy as inherent requirement and result of dialectical development of disposition justice. It
5、39;s a pity that they have not realized study in disposition justice and political liberalism has been opposite essentially. Disposition justice is not the basic point to set up democracy. The
6、 social development fact indicates that the traditional outlook on life has already been incompatible with current era, and is detested and rejected deeply by the masses of people. The democrat
7、ic autocracy with its looks' form has also passed through many hands or places with the advanced history wheel. At the same time, the school of modern new- Confucian that advocate “holy i
8、nside opens new king outside“, has struggled for the rights to subsistence earnestly all the time. Its utopia of morals is so far still like the moon in water and flower in mirror. In addi
9、tion, according to the situation that they throw themselves into the political activity, they’ re either not to be merged into because of high justice, for instance Xiong Shili, et al. or boo
10、st autocratic dictatorship regime's arrogance because of the wrong theory’ s guidance, for instance Zhang Junmai participated in “ the false national assembly “,etc. in 1946. Among the modern
11、 new personages of the Confucianists, Zhang Junmai can call model of “not forget politics because of philosophy, not forget philosophy because of politics“. Because his core of philosophy though
12、t is the outlook on life of the free will, i.e. the Confucianists’so- called “Confucian orthodoxy“, his political theory's content is to follow the example of the modern western democratic
13、system. So this text takes the topic “between conservatism and liberalism“. For wide clearing entangled withing between the liberalism and conservatism, I divide full text into chapter four adop
14、ting the total method after dividing first: explain conservatism property and characteristic of his outlook on life in chapter one; analyze liberalism factor and inherent defect of his democratic
15、 constitutional theory in chapter two; sum up how to combine cultural conservatism and political liberalism in chapter three; pursue the reason of phenomenon that cultural conservatism and political libe
16、ralism appear compatibly from science aspect in chapter four. Take a broad view of the full text, we can see inherent contradiction nature between cultural conservatism and political liberalism,
