3、idenceinducedbyminingwasobserved.Thenumericalresultsmatchmeasurementsinthelabatyverywell.Theverticalpressureonthebaseoftheretainingwallthehizontaldisplacementofthewallthehizontalsoilpressureactingonthewallwereanalyzed.Th

11、is10m.Thewallisreinfcedfadistanceof0.5m.Thecrosssectionofthereinfcementis0.2mx0.002m(Fig.1).3LabatytestftheprojectNumericalresultswerecomparedtoactualmeasurementsduringdevelopmentoftheprojectmodel.Theratioofthephysicalmo
12、deldimensionstotheactualdimensionsis20.Boththelengthheightofthemodelretainingwallare50cm.Therewerefivedisplacementgaugesontheleftthreeontherightfcompensation.Therewerethreepressurecellsonthebottomoftheretainingwallfmeasu
13、ringthevariationinverticalpressure.Threepressurecellswereontheflanktomeasurethehizontalpressure.Nineboxeswereputunderthesoil.Ajackwaspositionedundereachboxtocontrolsettlement(Fig.2).thereinfcedmaterialissymmetricalinresp
14、ecttothecenterofthereinfcedarea.Thesubsidenceinducedaxialstressinthelowestlayerofreinfcedmaterialismuchhigherthanthatatthetopofthereinfcedmaterial.Themaximumsubsidenceinducedaxialstressinthelowestlayerofreinfcedmateriali
15、s27.6MPa.Themaximumsubsidenceinducedaxialstressinthetoplayerisonly0.29MPa.5Conclusions1)Theverticalstressactingonthebaseoftheretainingwallincreasesinthedlewhilesimultaneouslydecreasingatthetwoends.Themaximumsubsidenceind
16、ucedverticalstressonthebaseoftheretainingwallis98.1kPawhichisdoubletheweightofthesoilitself.2)Anoutwarddisplacementof0.06cmoccursatthetopoftheblockoftheretainingwall.Aninwarddisplacementof3.64cmoccursatthelowestpartofthe
17、blockoftheretainingwall.Thisimpliesthatthesoilpressurenearthetopoftheblockisinanactivestatethatthesoilpressuredecreasesby0.56kPa.Thesoilpressurenearthebottomoftheblockisinapassivestateitincreasesby76.5kPa.3)Duetosubsiden
18、cethereinfcedareabecomescurvedsymmetricallyrelativetothecenteroftheretainingwall.Thedifferentialsubsidenceatthebottomofthereinfcedareaoftheretainingwallismuchgreaterthatthatatthetop.Themaximumdifferentialsubsidenceis9.8c
19、m.Subsidenceinducedstresschangeatthebottomofthereinfcedareaoftheretainingwallismuchgreaterthanthatatthetopofthereinfcedarea.Themaximumsubsidenceinducedstressis27.6MPawhichisonefourthofthetensilestrengthofsteel.6Suggestio
20、nsWhendifferentialsubsidenceoccursinthefuturethefollowingmeasurementsshouldbetakenintheretainingwall.1)Ahighpressuresplittingfmedpileothermethodsshouldbeusedtoimprovethegroundsoilfthesoftsoil.2)Flexibleblockshouldbeusedi
21、fpossiblethedensityofreinfcingmaterialincreasedtodecreasethehizontaldisplacementstressesintheblockoftheretainingwall.3)Thebottomofthereinfcedareaoftheretainingwallshouldbelargertogetabiggersafetyfact.Atthesametimethejoin
