2、nce, the total area of locust breeding region is 1530,000ha, and distributing in 151 counties around middle and down stream of the Yellow River, the Bohai Bay, and some lakes and reservoirs in Northern China. The vegetat

3、ion structure, soil character, predominant species of natural enemies, and other grasshopper species have been determined. The occurrence trend of locust plague and its influence on agriculture, animal husbandry, and the

4、 ecosystems have been analyzed. The trend of locust plague, the outbreak area and frequency increasing will increase. It needs to input more to reduce the plague. The long-term aim and strategies have been proposed, sugg

5、esting to enhancement of the behavior of government, improvement of monitoring and emergency action systems and so on.From the view of sustainable management of locust plague the tactics for IPM with ecological environme
