4、uildings belonged its. Therefore, investigating the quantities, current conditions and distributes of these old buildings is a important topic of earthquake disaster resistance of one city , so g

5、eneral investigation to earthquake resistance ability of these buildings is the most direct method to solve this question. Based on such background this paper discusses the method of general in

6、vestigation of earthquake resistant of urban buildings. This paper’ s project research received plenty of every kind buildings data from the earthquake resistant of urban buildings before1989 whic

7、h was investigated generally in Anshan city. To provide the reliable materials to reinforcement, removal and transformation of old urban buildings, provide the scientific basis to the decision o

8、f government department for reducing the earthquake disaster, and provide the basic data to the prediction of urban earthquake disaster, plan and management against earthquake disaster in the cit

9、y , earthquake and secondary earthquake disaster, etc. In every kind methods of resistance and reduce of earthquake disaster loses the geographic information system (GIS) is the most effective m

10、ethod and management means, this paper applies GIS technology to the general investigation of earthquake resistant of urban buildings. In this paper the database is e stablished according to the

11、 results of earthquake resistant of urban buildings, on the basis of database the “ general investigation of earthquake resistant information management system of urban buildings”based- GIS is set

12、 up which bases on the platform of software ArcView by adopting the script language Avenue, and every kind of basic data、chart and feedback information can be received from this system. The

13、system mainly faces the urban earthquake resistance domain, the spatial and attribute information of the old buildings can be inquired and counted quickly, and received dynamic analysis and mana
