1、Bioenergy based on microalgae has attracted the attention from a number of scientists in the world. Because it has high potential to remove inorganic nutrients (N,P) from domestic wastewater,CO2 emitted from fuel fossil.
2、 In the microalgae culture,to find new nutrients source is considerably important. This study,therefore,aims to investigate the feasibility of re-using wastewater and harvest water from cultivation process indoor and out
3、door.
Indoor cultivation was conducted with various harvest water ratio of (0,10,30,50%),wastewater and liquid fertilizer to test the growth ability of microalgae. The biomass and consumption of organics,nitrogen an
4、d phosphorus by microalgae was also elucidated. The experiment was conducted using tubular photo-bioreactor with a working volume of 800mL. The reactors were supplied with a mixture of 2%CO2 in air an aeration rate of 0.
5、4 L/min. The temperature 25±2℃. Light was continuously illuminated by fluorescent lamp at an intensity of 200 μmol/m2/s. Batch cultivation was conducted during 4 cycles,7 days for each cycle in a duration of 28 days. As
6、a result,total nitrogen and total phosphorus were entirely removed after 2 days. And re-use of 30%harvest water produce biomass concentration of 3~16%higher than other ratios.
In outdoor cultivation,the semi-continu
7、ous cultivation was conducted during 3 or 4 cycle,3 days for each cycle. This experiment was conducted using flat photo-bioreactor with a working volume of 10 L. Light was continuously illuminated by fluorescent lamp and
8、 sunlight. Others cultivation conditions is similar. Harvest water was produced to using centrifugation and microfiltration filter (UTP-143,AsahiKASEI co,Japan). As a result,recycling harvest water with ratio of 30%harve
