3、nt of our country's economy and western development strategy further implementation,the construction of airport in Our Country's Western Area enter into the unprecedented stage. Distribution of karst landform als
4、o is widely in Our Country's Western Area. Rock mass strength will be reduced by the karst caves, however it will effect the security and stability of building foundation in this area. Bijie Airport is located at Fei
5、xiong Village which is in the southeast of Bijie,and the distance between the Bijie Road is 30km. Flight area of construction planning is 4C,and now it will be 3c under construction.And the airport will be taken as the l
6、ateral airport in Guizhou province. The length of airport runway is 2550m,and the width is 45m.Escape way at the two end is 300m;the flight zone is 3200m;the soil surface area is 80m. engineering geological condition and
7、 hydrogeology condition in the area are complex,and most of the area is karst landform.so the bad geological phenomenon such as karst cave and karst funnel develop. Those will effect the stability of building foundation.
8、 In this paper,the building foundation under the load in the karst landform will be anlysised base on the geological investigation data taken the research on the access of stability as the core.And the suggestion is put
9、up to handle the situation. Firstly,engineering geological condition of the project area is revealed. According to field survey,engineering geological survey,exploration drilling, geophysical prospecting,geotechnical and
10、 physicalmechanical experiment in the area,engineering geological condition which include topography and geomorphology, formation lithology,geological structure,hydrological condition can be investigated. Secondly,karst
