3、d Liu Zongyuan. Ouyang-zhan had a special position in the literary movement,and wun renown in the contemporary literary circles.He died early, but obtained great literature achievement,to which,HanYu,Liu Zongyuan,Li Ao,a

4、nd Li Yisun all have lots of paneqyric. After his death, cultural giant Li Ao composed biography for him, and cultural giant Han-Yu wrote a lament for him. Ouyang Zhan is worth studying ,because he not only took an activ

5、e part in and supported classical literary movement,but also showed distinguishable personality. The thesis tried to commence from the cultural heritage sorting and carried on systematically studying on his thought and c

6、reations. The thesis included exordium, text two big parts.The exordium discussed the purpose and meaning of the study on Ouyang Zhan from a few aspects,such as Mid-Tang prose’s status in Literary history of Tang Dynasty
