4、onambidexterity.ThismatterisofconcernbecausetheabsenceofambidexterityhasbeenassociatedwithsubstardperfmanceanincreasedriskoffailurewhenINVsadaptonlynarrowlytochangesinoverseasmarketconditionsproductinnovationdevelopments
5、areinadequatelyalignedtocustomers.Buildingontheresourcebasedviewofthefirmtheauthsempiricallyexaminetherelationshipsamongcompetitivemarketstrategyinnovationambidexteritypositionaladvantageexptventureperfmance.Indoingsothe
6、ybringtogethertheexptventureperfmanceparadigmstrategyinnovationframewktoofferanovelconceptualmodelofinnovationambidexterityexptventureperfmanceinINVs.DrawingonaquantitativestudyofMexicanhightechnologyINVstheauthsfindthat
7、innovationambidexterityminesbothmarketingdifferentiationcostleadershipadvantagestogethertheselinktoexptventureperfmancegains.Theauthsrevealthatmarketingdifferentiationstrategycostleadershipstrategypositivelyinfluencediff
8、erentiationcostadvantagesrespectivelyhybridstrategyinverselyinfluencesmarketingdifferentiationadvantagemarketingdifferentiationstrategyalonedrivesinnovationambidexterity.Thefindingshaveimptantimplicationsfresearchoninter
9、nationalmarketing:Firsttheauthsdevelopanintegrativemodelthatunravelshowambidextrousinnovationscomeaboutthemechanismsbywhichfirmscangainfromthem.Secondtheyreptontheinterplaybetweencompetitivemarketingstrategiesinnovationa

11、ignedintheinnovationambidexteritydebate.Fourththeydisaggregatecompetitivestrategiespositionaladvantagestoexplainthecomplexityoftheireffectsoninnovationambidexterityexptventureperfmance.GoingGlobalwithInnovationsfromEmerg
12、ingEconomies:Investmentinmarketresponsivenessproductinnovationonfirmperfmance.Usingsurveydatacollectedfrom140feignfirmsinChinatheauthillustratesthatdifferentenvironmentalsegmentsaffectmarketresponsivenessproductinnovatio
13、nunequally.Theresultsindicatethatbothmarkettechnologicalturbulenceleadfeignfirmstofocusonmarketresponsivenesswhereasonlytechnologicalturbulencedeterminesproductinnovation.RegardingtheroleofMNCwkstrengththeresultsshowthat
14、itcanbeabufferalternativetomarketingstrategicposturesindealingwithmarketturbulencegeneratingpositiveperfmanceoutcomes.InadditionalthoughMNCwkstrengthcaninfluencetherelationshipbetweenmarketingstrategicposturesfirmperfman
15、cethestudyshowsthatitentailsaacteristicthatcanproducemixedeffects.OntheonehMNCwkstrengthreinfcesthepositiveimpactofmarketresponsivenessonfirmperfmance.Ontheotherhitturnstheimpactofproductinnovationonfirmperfmancefromposi
16、tivetonegativesuggestingthatafeignfirmshouldnotrelyonthecollectivewisdomofitswkmembersbecausethismaycreateinertiatochangefurtherpreventthefeignfirmfromidentifyingbreakthroughtechnologiesrealizingopptunities.Becausethecos
