2、gn is a blend of practicality, comprehensiveness, engineering, which focus on cultivating student’s ability of design, analysis, testing, application and development of digital system. As the key link of teaching, experi
3、ment is also of vital importance to cultivation of innovative and practical ability. With the deepening of the reform of higher education, traditional mode of experiment teaching can’t adapt the requirements of innovativ
4、e teaching mode. Opening experiments which supply the opening time and space, opening experimental content, opening teaching environment, become the direction of experimental teaching reforming. In this paper, a digital
5、 system experiment platform based on network is designed, which using the NiosII core, porting the Lightweight IP(LwIP) protocol to μC/OS-II operating system, communicating with client programs using TCP/IP. The system c
6、an achieve remote download and configuration of user’s FPGA device, and remote control of keys, clock options, modes etc. It can display the real-time experiment result on client interface. Students can use it to operate
7、 a real remote experiment via Internet. The paper firstly analyzes several remote network technology and their advantages, disadvantages, bring forward a design of digital system experiment platform based on network. Se
8、condly it finishes hardware design of the platform, containing the customizing of NiosII CPU, design of memory peripheral, interface of DM9000A ethernet controller, LED, A/D converter, D/A converter, controlled clock and
9、 frequency measure components, interface of AD9833 etc. Thirdly, it finishes the software design of the platform using the μC/OS-II real-time Operating System, program 10 application tasks such as system initial task, re
10、ceive data task, send data task, remote download and configuration task etc. Based on the study of TCP/IP protocols and Lightweight IP core source, it port the LwIP stack and design driver program for DM9000A, realize th
11、e Internet interface of platform. It also program a remote client software in Visual C++ 6.0 IDE using sockets, which achieve the communication between platform and client through TCP/IP. Finally, we build a testing syst
12、em, test the experiment platform exactly. The result show that all the expected requirements are reached. The experiment platform satisfy the need of digital electronic system experiments courses and achieve the goal of
