3、all his life to the creation of Long ci-verse. He combines the sing-song girls or the musicians’ tune with the scholars’ lyrics which made Ci released the music’s harmonic melody and the diction’s smooth beauty. Thus, Ci

4、 shows its unique personality and made it very different from pomes. LiuYong’s creation of such a large number of Long ci-verse (long-sized, more than 91 characters) becomes a milestone in the history of Ci’s development

5、. Then, Ci of the Song Dynasty has taken on a new look and LiuYong also has became a founder of Ci’s prosperity. LiuYong’s works are very popular among the ordinary people and receives the worship of a lot of people. Eve

6、n though some scholar-officials often disdained for LiuYong, when write the lyrics they ’ve unavoidable been impacted by him. No matter whether they lives the same time with LiuYong or just after him, those outstanding C

7、i poets of the Song Dynasty such as QinGuan 、 HeZhu 、 ZhouBangyan as well as the representatives of Haofang( bold and unconstrained) Ci Lyrics like SuShi and XinQiji also follow LiuYong in some aspects from time to time

8、.As Wang Zuo's On Standard Music-My Reflection in Biji (BiJiManZhi) Volume said, youth in nowadays learn either from ⅡLiuJiqin(LiuYong) or from CaoYuanchong(ChaoZu). This paper bases on the phenomenon that a large a

9、mount of Long ci-verse appeared in LiuYong’s masterpiece the Music Collection. It aims at analyzing the reasons of this phenomenon. Even though some books on history of Ci have pointed out the external causes of the pros

10、perity of ManCi, it is not enough for the research of the internal causes. Thus, it is necessary to have a thorough research on it. This article studies the reasons why the ManCi can outshine others .And it also gives an

11、 appropriate explanation to this unique phenomenon from both the external causes and the internal causes. Meanwhile, this paper acknowledges LiuYong's significant contributions to the progress of ManCi .At the same t
